A sealing packaging machine is a versatile type of packaging equipment. The roll packaging materials come in both single-layer and composite varieties: single-layer options include moisture-proof cellophane, polyethylene, polypropylene, and high-density polyethylene; while composite materials include stretch polypropylene/polyethylene, as well as polyethylene/cellophane/aluminum foil.
Additionally, there are also heat-sealable materials available, and packaging sealing options include pillow seals, three-side seals, and four-side seals. These machines are used for packaging products intended for retail sales.
A boxing machine is a mechanical device used for product sales packaging. It fills a box with a measured, predetermined amount of material and then seals or closes the open end of the box.
The case packer is used for completing transport packaging—it arranges finished products into boxes according to a specific pattern and in predetermined quantities, then seals or closes the open top of the box. Both cartoning machines and case packers feature functions such as container forming (or opening containers), measuring, filling, and sealing.
The process for bottling lines used to fill various types of beverages is generally similar, but the specific filling and capping machines employed differ depending on the nature of the drink. For instance, in a beer bottling line, in addition to selecting the appropriate filling and capping machines, an extra sterilization unit is often added. Meanwhile, the capping machine is chosen based on the type of cap being used—whether it’s a crown cap, screw cap, or plug cap, among others.
